Identity [more specifically the logo applied to a business card, a letterhead, an envelope and a compliment slip - smaller than actual size] for the fictional early music [see [link] & [link] ] label called "tBm". This is one of my final projects for the university [BA(Hons) Graphic Design], my Independent Project.

The brief itself is set and researched by me. It all started when I formed the question "How can I, as a designer, raise awareness of early music and expand its audience?" during my Research and Planning module, then I decided to design a record label which will also inform people about early music through organizing events and concerts.

What tBm represents is the answer to my question, a more modern, inclusive approach, an attempt to bring in more audience, younger people, non-musicians, anyone who could be intrigued by the design, anyone willing to try listening to new things.

My aim is to achieve bringing in new people and showing that such performance practices are what's current in the classical music world without losing the link between the essence of the music and the design.

Nicely done. I like the concept, being a lover of the "oldies" myself, and I like the way you have realized it visually. I don't think it will persuade the headbanging crowd, but it might nudge some of the less hard-core and more open-minded types to try listening to something new, even if it's not new at all.

I like the black and white, the grid, the bracket. I'm not sure of the 'yesterday, today' part; I think I'd be more inclined to emphasize the idea that Bach & company were always leaders, people before their time, and still are.

Congratulations on completing your requirements. I hope you have wonderful plans for a fitting celebration.
